OUR FAVORITE LOOKS FROM THE 86TH ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS

The Oscar's is undoubtedly the biggest night of the year in Hollywood. All around the world, people are excitedly watching to see who takes home the prestigious awards but another highly important part of the night is the outfits. The important questions are: Who's wearing who? Who wore the best dress? We had a look at all of the gorgeous stars and picked a few that really stood out on the red carpet this year.

Jennifer Lawrence in Christian Dior
Looking absolutely stunning, the Nominee for Best Supporting Actress was graceful and majestic in this fitted strapless dress. The red gown by Dior had peplum detail and she teamed it with a backwards necklace to complete the look.

Naomi Watts opted for a simple white Calvin Klein Collection dress this year. She looked elegant in the floor-length, cap-sleeved sequin dress, which was complimented by Bulgari  jewelry, including a spider's web necklace and a beautiful bracelet.

The Academy Award winner wore a plunging Prada gown for undoubtedly the biggest night of her life so far. Lupita looked very regal in this light blue, pleated dress, and a crystal hairband was added, finishing off her Grecian look. It's no surprise that newcomer Lupita was one of the best dressed, as she has consistently looked beautiful at every event, successfully wearing bright colors and daring looks as she graces the red carpet.

Wearing a navy Gucci gown, Amy Adams was a big hit as she stunned in this strapless number. The midnight blue dress was fitted with peplum detail, and the actress teamed it with colorful earrings and minimal accessories.

Someone who never disappoints on the red carpet, Kate Hudson opted for an old Hollywood style dress. This figure-hugging, low-cut gown was a big success and the beaded detail and cape made the look that much more alluring. Definitely one of the best looks of the night... very glamorous and classy.

Cate Blanchett wore a nude Armani Prive dress for the night. Always one to watch out for, the star made sure she made her way on to the Best Dressed lists with this strapless dress, embellished with Swarovski crystals. The flared skirt added some old Hollywood class to the night and Cate went for simple drop earrings to complete her look.

The blonde beauty looked flawless in this black mermaid style Haute Couture dress. With it's sheer straps and plunging neckline, there was no doubt that Charlize Theron completely owned this look.
