MARC JACOBS COLLABORATES WITH LOUIS VUITTON FOR THE LAST TIME...

Marc Jacobs has announced he's leaving Louis Vuitton and what better way to exit than with a stunning all black collection? As he says goodbye to focus on his own label as it heads towards an IPO, the end of the designer's 16 years at the brand has been confirmed by Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault.

His final show for the brand was presented this morning and was a beautiful celebration of his greatest hits. His first ever show for the label was all black, and he continues this tradition with his final collection with LV. Parts of the set included pieces and props from previous shows like escalators, a lift, a carousel and more to fully celebrate his work and dedication to the brand. All these pieces were in black this time as some of his most famous sets are combined as one.

Marc himself dedicated the show to all the women who he's drawn inspiration from, including fashion icons Kate Moss and Coco Chanel. Model Edie Campbell rocked on to the catwalk wearing nothing but the Louis Vuitton name printed all over her body, referencing Jacob's most successful bag for the brand.

The Spring/Summer 2014 collection was unveiled at Paris Fashion Week and the models wore minimalistic make-up and elaborate head-dresses. Each piece was beautiful and exquisite, and the entire collection was a tribute to Marc's work for over a decade at the brand.
