Whenever I'm in LA, I love driving past my college FIDM and remembering those sleepless nights, endless projects, lugging all those patterns and bolts of fabric all over campus, and the eagerness I had to start my venture in the Fashion Industry. You could always spot the Fashion Design Majors on campus, we always had the most stuff to carry around, lol.

If you like MGMT than you have to listen to Freelance Whales, an indie rock band out of Queens, New York. I first heard of them last year with the slough of new artists that performed at South by Southwest, but I LOVE their melodic harmonies and catchy tunes on their album Weathervanes. Freelance Whales will go on tour in April with Foals! If you get a chance, check them out!!
